What is Reiki?

Reiki is an energy healing practice that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. The word "Reiki" is composed of two Japanese words: "rei," meaning universal or spiritual, and "ki," which refers to the life force energy that flows through all living things. Reiki practitioners believe that this life force energy can be channeled and directed to promote healing and balance in the body, mind, and spirit.

Benefits of Reiki

Reiki helps remove blockages, open the chakras, and restore the natural balance within the body's energy systems, which in turn can lead to physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.

It is said to promote relaxation, reduce stress, alleviate pain, improve sleep, and support the body's natural healing abilities.

Reiki Session

The process typically involves the practitioner gently placing their hands near the client's body, with the intention of facilitating the flow of healing energy.

During a Reiki session, the client may feel sensations such as warmth, tingling, or a sense of relaxation.

Reiki is often used as a complementary therapy alongside conventional medical treatments.
